Aryan came in for his newborn photography session and did so well, he slept so well and we also managed to get a few images with open eyes. We had a good chat and his mum was super helpful and really enjoyed the session. Go down and look and see that he even gave us a smile. Adore a newborn smile, it really makes my day so much better.

With my light studio, soft lighting and white noise to keep the calmness in the room. Like I always say try to come with calm emotions and leave the stress and nerves at the door. If you keep calm your baby will be calm and more likely to sleep better.

The best is If your little one is asleep when arriving, I will then slowly place your bundle on my big soft bean bag and slowly undress him/her and hopefully your little star keeps sleeping so I slowly can star capturing straight away. With simple posing and wraps and outfits I will gently move your little bundle.
I will ask for your hand to join in a few times and soon have you lean in and give your little snuggle a kiss and cuddle. I will make sure to capture the tiny details such as tiny toes and lips.

After bean bag and a few cuddles with mummy and daddy it’s time for a basket or two, it will be simple set up but beautiful. I will ask you to sit close to me as safety. Because safety goes first in my studio.

We will finish off with a few photos with you and your bundle in your arms.

Oh, yes I almost forgot to mention if this isn't your first one and your older one/ones wants to join then we will start the session on with sibling photos as it’s good to have that done while they are more interested and also to take away any jealousy or hard feelings. As this little bundle is a new family member and it can be hard to handle for some little siblings. I will make it playful and easy.

Meet Arlo a cute little 4 months old boy. They came into my studio the first time when he was 11 weeks for his first Christmas shoot and he has just been back from a baby photography session in my studio. With my popular white theme look. I love the white theme, it keeps the focus on your babies face and will suit any generation and home.

Arlo came in in a good mood and was a happy little guy and also teething so his hands were so yummy and we had to work a little to keep them covering up his cute little face. He did so well and we were done in an hour, which is great. He looked so good in the white soft body that I have in the studio in a few sizes. It’s a very simple body but yet so cute.

Having your babies’ photos taken is so important in my opinion, they grow so fast and you want to have at least a few really good quality photos that you can hand up on the wall and adore. It is popular for my clients to do their maternity, newborn, baby, and then a cake smash session to cover the whole year. Of course, many are coming back a few years later with the second or 3rd bump and we do it all again but with a sibling as well. I love having the whole family coming to my studio and yes dads are always welcome they should get their hair done to put on a white shirt and come and join us.

Shéa came in with his wonderful parents for a newborn photography session. He was already a little older than what we recommend but he did well. We managed to capture a few very wonderful photos.

They wanted a natural and light look, with white. I love the simple white backdrops with babies and families. It just keeps the focus on them and not everything else. What colours would you go for?

Shéa slept and was also awake for a few images, he is a really cute baby and I hope to see him again in the future.

Super cute little Imaan, who did so well during the shoot. We managed to capture some very special images that his parents will adore forever and ever, which is my goal. The beauty of images and it’s memories and they are worth so much for us. Make sure to keep them safe and don’t let them get dusty on only a USB stick make sure to buy a wall frame and hang them up in your home to see everyday. It will make it so much more powerful.

We went for a simple look of white and solid blues, that would go well in their home and to keep the focus on Imaan. I am very happy with how they turned out. He had the most gorgeous hair and was for the most part very relaxed. I love the simplicity in simple colours. We didn’t use that many props this session which is fine, there is no need to use loads of props, even if I love all my props.

Cake smash sneak peek here we go, I know we are going into a new lock down and yes I am closing my studio on Thursday so I will be sharing ma latest work and I do have a few left to retouch and give some love to and share with you guys.

I wanted to say that if you have a baby that will turn one in November and wants a cake smash session I am taking bookings for December and forward and are hoping that it will happen and the lock down won’t be longer than 4 weeks, fingers crossed. If you are having a baby in November I am booking your due date in and we are hoping that we will be able to shoot your little baby early days in December. They might be a few days older then what we normally would like. There is always a way of capturing cute photos even if they are a bit older so don’t hesitate to book in your due date we will make it happen. Keep hope up and fingers crossed.

My last newborn session before the second lock down goes ahead and it’s so sad but I have to follow the rules and my studio is closing on Thursday for 4 weeks and I really hope that I will be able to open after that and have more newborns coming in again, I can’t wait. TO PREPARE A POSTPARTUM SURVIVAL KIT!!!

I ran out of everything fast (what the hospital provided at least) and had to try telling my husband (while he was going to every store in the area) what Happy Nunny Healing Pads  (because these were MUST HAVES). All that frustration while in pain and exhausted to my soul!

I advice you TO NOT skip out on a Postpartum Care Kit. It’s not that hard to put together either. I have put together an Amazon List  with items recommended by the hospital.

You will also run out of those guazy, ugly as heck but amazing disposable underwear the hospital gives you, or they may give you none if you are unlucky. Save yourself the trouble and buy your own postpartum maternity (post-surgical) disposable underwear just like the hospital has.

The hospital also gives you this cheapo little bottle to squirt warm water down there every single time you go to the bathroom called a peri bottle with a nozzle specifically designed to be held upside down, giving you much more control with each use.

Also, the hospital provided Happy Nunny Healing Pads to place directly on the maxi pad for relief. They are little round (3″) pads with witch hazel and I cannot tell you how much they relieved the burning and itching, so good and make it just a little better.

When you leave the hospital, chances are you will receive Pain Relieving Spray and you will be thankful so thankful.. The nurse told me, “Never forget to use this each and every time you go to the bathroom.” The problem is, that’s a lot of spraying so we had to go out and find two additional cans. Save yourself the hassle and have it ready beforehand! I can’t stress this enough. Another similar spray gaining momentum is Earth Mama Herbal Perineal Spray. It’s a more natural product and I’ve heard raving reviews.

But he most important thing is to Rest! I will say it again yes rest because it is SO important. Take care of yourself. It’s okay if the laundry doesn’t get done and the house is a mess, it’s fine you just had a baby. Let yourself watch Netflix. Make yourself take naps (even if naps aren’t your thing). This is your healing and recovery time. Make it count as much as you can and please ask for help.

We live in a crazy world, made more complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic and I hope you are doing as well as you can in these difficult times. I can’t wait to shoot again and fill my studio with babies, families and newborns and lovely bumps or to go out in the nature to capture your family or your exciting engagement session. It’s been a little struggle for me to not being able to create and shoot. My fingers are itching and all I have been able to do is to capture my two children.

The photos I am sharing now is not my child, this is a session just before the virus got big, a little boy named Jason who where so cute but a little stubborn as well. His mother had decided to have a Winnie The Pooh theme, which is so much fun. I love having a cake smash session with a theme, it gives it that little extra challenge and it’s great fun. We had to plan a lot and go back and forward with the design of cake and decorations and came up with this. I love this set up so much but of course I will probably try to make it even better for next time. Jason did great even if there was a few tears during the session and that he didn’t want to sit there for long, but that’s ok as long as we capture the images that we have in mind.

The hunny pots is something I have done with help of my wonderful sister who can paint and write so beautifully, I am so proud of the pots. The Winnie The Pooh hat is handmade by me and it came out so good, I am looking to do the same but for newborn and also 6 months babies. So if you have a baby that soon can sit up then don’t hesitate to book in a Winnie The Pooh sitter session.

Flooring is a grass mat that I covered with a plexi plastic sheet to be able to clean easy and also for the stunning reflection. The cake was made from my local baker you can find here details Here

Thank you for this year and all the support and all new and old clients coming to me and trusting and wanting my service. I am so grateful for all the support and love and I so love my work and can’t wait to next year and be able to grow more and get bigger. After a year with a move of country and rebranding the business I am now more then ready to make it grow and make memories for you and your family.

The little cute baby boy below is Louie a little boy who came with his parents to my studio for a newborn session they got as a gift. I love when friends and family books a session as a gift, it’s such a great gift and so appreciated. Louie is the first for his parents and are so loved and he was a little surprise for him. He did so well during the session and we got some magical images for them to love forever and share with their friends and family. I always recommend to order wall frames and get the images up on your walls and not only stuck on a usb stick or your Facebook.
The feeling of framing them up on your wall and see them daily and adore them daily is priceless. It makes such a difference and even for your child growing up seeing these lovely images it’s so nice. I am sure that there will be questions regarding the images such as is that me? How old was I? Where did you do this? Oh I was so cute?

Framing the images up is so important in my opinion.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Let me share a few images from a newborn session. His mother came in with him for a newborn session in my studio. We had a great time and the rest of the family came closer to the end of the session to wrap up with some sibling and family photos. Everyone did so well and was very patience. I had the pleasure to getting to capture all their children newborn photos and I am so happy about it and you can see that they so look alike which is so much fun.

A newborn session is such a special session, it’s so much love and happiness and of course tired parents, but that’s fine too. Everyone did so good and all I can do is wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday Dear Ivano-Kiala Francisco. Happy Birthday to you! Yay!

First smash the cake session in the new studio, oh yes so exciting and fun. We had a great time, and yes I noticed a few things that I could change in the storage to make it better for you. I am so happy that Ivano-Kiala came with his beautiful family and with his older sister who was so well behaved. A family from Angola with very well behaved children and a very fun family. He had a great smile in the begging of the session. They added some family photos to their session so we started of with some wonderful family images and a few of his sister alone.

We moved over to the smash the cake session shortly after and it took a few minutes to get the decorations up and perfect for them, what do you think of the decorations? Do you like it minimal or more wild and a lot of decorations and colour?

Ivano-Kiala was enjoying the cake so much that he didn’t have tim to smile, he just ate and ate and experimented with the textured of the buttercream. It was a pleasure to watch it all happening and how much he enjoyed it. The best part for him was the bath at the end, yes the wonderful time in the little bath tub was so good and wow he cried when we got him out to get him dry and dressed. It have to come to an end one day. He splashed so hard that some of the decorations got ruined, but that’s fine. It gave us cute photos so definitely worth it. So if you come and your little one is splashing hard don’t be worried about it. As long as there is no tears and cry then I am more than happy.

The cake for this session was completely egg free cake which is something we can do. The cake is done by Buttercream Daisies She is a great baker and she even dropped it of for me, that little extra service that I just needed that day. If you ever need a cake contact her, she wont disappoint you.

Todays model was a cute little two weeks old Kassius. Oh I can really say that I feel in love this little baby boy did so good. He didn’t even poo on my blankets and he slept so nicely. Of course he made a little noises and snored for us as well. His beautiful mum was so calm and nice which helped a lot. One of the worst things that can happen is that a parent is so nervous or stressed so the baby can feel it and make them unsettled. So please always stay calm. Kassius mum Nathalie did so well and I can’t be more thankful for that.

We had a wonderful time at the comfort of her home, where I seted up in her living room with a few things and blankets in different colours to chose from. It was a really nice time and some good chatting. Thank you Kassius for being a good little baby model. The rest will come in a few days, I got to give the images some love. x

Färger ska det ju vara, denna gång lite färger som det inte alltid brukar vara, men färger som jag väldigt mycket tycker om. Smash the cake fotograferingen med Niklas gick väldigt bra även fast att han i början var lite ledsen och blyg. Men efter en stund med lite hjälp av mamma och pappa så fick det tillslut fart på det kladdiga.

Men som i vanlig ordning så började vi med ett par familje bilder och vidare till att dekorera och göra i ordning studion för en cake smash fotografering. Brukar gärna göra detta med föräldrarna då det blir som de vill ha det då. Jag lägger alltid fram alla dekoration på ett långt bord jag har där föräldrarna kan i lugn och ro titta igenom och välja färger och vilka saker de vill ha. Ibland får man hänga upp och sedan kanske ta bort och byta till något annat. Men viktigt för mig är att kunden är nöjd med dekorationen och hur det är uppsatt. De är ju deras bilder i slutändan så otroligt viktigt att det blir bra.

Niklas fotograferade jag när han var nyfödd och efter ett år så kommer han in i studion större men lika söt. Men han är en liten pojke som behöver lite tid innan han blir varm i kläderna och vågar ta för sig och så kan det vara ibland och därav har jag alltid två timmar på dessa fotograferingar även fast att det ibland bara tar en timma beroende på barn. Men Niklas var duktig som tog sig igenom detta med leenden på slutet och ett mysigt bad som han tyckte väldigt mycket om. Då han har känslig hy så får han inte bada så ofta så detta var otroligt kul men oj vad ledsen han blev när det väl var över. Han fyllde hela studion med sitt skrik. Men men så kan det gå och jag förstår helt varför han skrek, bada är ju bara för roligt.

Det var väldigt kul att få träffa Niklas igen efter ett år och få se hur denna lilla nyfödda bebis hade vuxit och formats. Niklas ögon är ju så fina och han kommer att charma många flickor i framtiden, det kan jag lova. Men är så tacksam för att få fångat dessa bilder och att få dela de med er.

Happy 1st Birthday Eliott! 

Vilken glad kille som kom in i min studio häromdagen, en kille med nyfikenhet och inte var han blyg inte. Han kom mer än redo för sin cake smash fotografering. Sommar tema på var det som föräldrarna ville ha. En sommartårta med massor av bär och blått och vitt som himmelen, molnen och havet. Hans bruna ögon tindrade av lycka när han fick syn på denna tårta och fick ta del av den. Bären åt han snabbt upp först, oj de var allt goda. 

Eliott var inte rädd för att bli kladdig han inte, han smörjde väl in sina ben i grädde och var så nöjd. En liten gottegris kanske det blir av denna lilla kille vem vet. Hans föräldrar var mer än glada och mycket skratt blev det undertiden. Innan cake smash bilderna började så var vi ute och tog familje bilder ute på ängen som ligger på andra sidan gatan studion. En perfekt liten äng för några familje bilder. Det vanliga så avslutade vi med att ta fram den gamla vintage badbaljan där Eliott fick hoppa i och plaska och tvätta av sig i. Åh vad han tyckte det var kul, oj vilka glada miner vi fick under den stunden. Han var inte lika glad att kliva ur dock, men det roliga måste komma till ett slut ibland. 

Sitter även och planerar min egna sons cake smash fotografering som ska ske på fredag, tankarna är lite regnbåge, moln och flygplans tema. Har inte bestämt hur tårtan ska se ut ännu men vi får se. Men innan det blir det en annan cake smash till en kund som har allergi mot ägg och mjölk. Så imorgon kommer första testet på att göra tårta utan ägg och mjölk. Det ska bli så spännande och är så taggad på resultatet. För det ska inte bara se bra ut utan också smaka bra så att era bebisar tycker om tårtan. Hoppas på att jag lyckas så att jag nu kan ta med detta under mitt bälte att ja jag kan erbjuda ägg och mjölkfri cake smash.

Barn fotografering med Niko i min studio för ett par dagar sedan var mer än lyckat. Mamma Frida vann denna fotografering på en tävling som fanns på Instagram Det kommer fler tävlingar i höst. 

Niko kom in i studion med mycket energi och glädje och oj vad duktig han var. Han satt så fint för att nyligen lärt sig att sitta själv och oj vilka leenden vi fick. Han är så otroligt charmig och Frida kommer att ha en underbar charmig lite kille till son. Han fångade mitt hjärta direkt och han var så enkel att fotografera. Men som alla bebisar så orkar de bara em viss stund sedan var han hungrig så vi pausade med lite mat och några familjebilder och sedan avslutade vi. Det var ett nöje att ha han och hans föräldrar i studion. 

Vi gjorde en lite hemma style med sänggaveln och mjukt ljus och väldigt enkelt. Lite kuddar och sköna filtar. Filten var så skön att han släppte lite och kissade en sväng, men det är ju såklart helt ok. Inget ni som förälder behöver oroa er för om de gör. Det ingår i mitt jobb och ja allt blir tvättat efter varje fotografering. Vi körde även lite magträning och fångade ett par biler på det. Vi bytte sedan bakgrund till lite mer färg en blå med vitt golv till och den söta gula lilla trä lådan som är så söt. Denna trä låda finns även i en vit, vilket också är snyggt. 

Denna fotografering tog en timma i studion och det var så roligt att Niko somnade snabbt i sin bilstol för att sedan rulla hem igen. Han hade haft kul den saken var ju säker. Han skulle definitivt passa som en barn modell, de leendena man fick var ju bara så underbara. Han verkligen trivdes framför kameran. Inte rädd eller bly och så snäll. Hoppas att jag kommer få se honom igen snart. Men nu önskar jag er alla en underbar helg.

Glad Påsk på er alla! Önskar er en underbar påsk helg med mycket mat och kärlek. 

Delar med mig lite ifrån vår egna lilla påsk fotografering vi hade här om dagen. Lite  underbara bilder på barnen utklädda och glada. Esmé tyckte denna fotografering var mycket rolig och hon var så duktig. Godwin tyckte början var kul men tålamodet tog snabbt slut och han var mer intresserad av att hasa sig genom studion. Men vi lyckades som alltid fånga några underbara bilder. Vilket var otroligt kul, man blir ju bara så glad av bilder som dessa. Den sista bilden är en liten bakom kulisserna bild där ni får se att jag använder mig av en damvipa ibland för att få ett litet leende. Denna gång skötte Esmé den vipan och det gick sådär då blicken gärna hamnade på henne. Men det är ok tycker jag för hon kämpade på så bra för att få Godwin på gott och glatt humör. Efter vår tur i studion som vi hade tagit oss kommunalt till så tog vi tunnelbanan tillbaka och stannade på ett underbart fik som de flesta känner till Vete-katten där vi åt en varsin god bulle och jag en kaffe och Esmé en varm choklad. Hennes belöning för att hon var så duktig och lyssnade. Ibland blir det belöningar där de varit lite extra duktiga. Vad brukar era barn få för belöningar?

Påsken hos oss kommer att färdas hem till deras gammelmorfar som bor en bit bort så det blir en buss resa på närmare två timmar tidigt imorgon för att äta god påsk mat och efterrätter. Hade tänkt att baka med mig några cupcakes med gul citron frosting. Det blir såklart påskägg under sängen till barnen Godwin är lite för liten för ett påskägg med godis men han får majskrokar i sin. Det kommer bli lika uppskattat det är jag säker på. Hoppas era barn kommer att få en underbar påsk med massor av kärlek och bus. Ta hand om er och njut av denna helg.

Att får fotografera en 4 dagars liten pojke är bara för underbart, de är ju så små och nya. De yngre bebisarna är desto enklare är det att fotografera, då de sover så djupt och går att posera så fint. Så det var en bra fotografering med lilla Louie och hans familj.

Vi började fotograferingen med fina bilder i i korgar och gick sedan över till den stora underbara bean bag som jag har där jag lagt upp en blå härlig filt och värmt upp där han ska ligga. Han sov så fint och var otroligt duktig, vi avslutade med familje bilder och några syskon bilder. Vi hade härliga samtal och i en paus njöt vi av kaffe och sockerkaka. Det var mycket blått och naturliga färger som de önskat. Hans äldre bröder var mer än stolta att ha en ny liten lille bror i familjen att få mysa med och hålla i. De alla är ju bara för söta, med deras underbart blåa ögon och blonda frisyrer, en otroligt fin familj. Det kan vara lite knepigt ibland att ta syskon bilder, dessa underbara pojkar till bröder hade ingen lust att ligga på en fluffig ljus filt som jag hade tänkt och det blev att hålla i lilla Louie ståendes, men det funkade det med absolut och de var så duktiga. Är riktigt glad att vi lyckades fånga alla dessa underbara bilder och att alla hade ett sådant tålamod, inte lätt för de äldre att vänta 3 timmar för att deras lille bror skulle få bilder tagna, de förstår kanske inte nu hur viktigt detta var för deras föräldrar. Men jag lovar er att en dag när de själva står där med sina barn i famnen så kommer de att förstå varför mamma släpade med de på dessa fotograferingar. Bilder är så otroligt viktigt i livet och för framtida personer och de skapar en historia som är värd så otroligt mycket. Det är så värt det att ta och boka en fotograf och fånga underbara familje bilder och skapa sin egna familjs historia. Njut nu av Louie´s bild historia.

Liam lilla Liam, tog studion med storm, han har en sådan underbar charm och var inte blyg att sitta med underbara kuddar och få jul bilder tagna. Han visade gärna upp hur snabbt han kunde krypa fram så det blev att flytta tillbaka honom ett par gånger. Så kan det gå ibland, att det blir fram och tillbaka innan det blir perfekt. Men vi lyckades fånga ett par fina bilder på denna lilla kille. Bilder som Liams föräldrar kommer att älska för evigt. Hur söt får man vara i sin lilla tomtedräkt?!

Julbilder är alltid lika kul att ta, de är bilder som är perfekt till julkort eller bara dela på sociala media med på julafton. Underbart att kunna ha fina bra bilder på sina barn som man kan lätt rama in och vara säker på att kvaliteten är på topp. Älskar jultiderna, det är ju bara så mysigt. Få sitta hemma med tända ljus, baka julbak och mysa framför en brasa i soffan medan snön faller där ute. Jultiderna är så starkt kopplat med familj och kärlek och såklart god mat. En tid för mycket underbara stunder med familjen. Ta din tid och gör något kul med din familj, kom och ta dina julbilder hos mig och skapa din julminnen för livet.
